August Walks from Haworth

Our walks in August will be from the lovely village of Haworth(correct spelling), situated at the edge of the Pennine moors in West Yorkshire, England, the area made famous by the Bronte sisters, known as Bronte country.
The coach will leave the back of Iceland at 8.00am on Saturday 9th August 2008. Pre-booking is essential through the Church office, but there are often spaces available in August for visitors (or for those unable to walk but wishing to visit with us).
There will be 3 parties;

• A led by Jenny Matthias
• B led by John Smith
• C led by Norman

More details will be available nearer the date, but should be 'on site' by 2nd August.


We last visited Haworth on 17th April 2004 when we were entertained by Morris dancers on our return to the village.
