Keswick
is the Northern tourist centre situated in the Lake District National park and under the massive Skiddaw and
on the shore of Derwentwater. It is a pretty town set in beautiful
surroundings and you can be assured of three great walks this month.
The Lake District National Park is the largest English National Park, established in 1951. Its 2,292 square kilometres cover high fells, rocky crags, lush green dales, still lakes, vibrant villages, quiet hamlets, sandy beaches and rocky tidepools
