A Party Walk Settle - 11.8 miles
A very pleasant walk on an overcast day, with brief glimpses of the sun and light drizzzle after lunch. After leaving the town we had a steep walk along mainly tarmacadam surface.
The climb then evened out away from the road onto the fells, ready for our first stop overlooking a farm. 
A Quick discussion over diverting to Malham tarn, but it was decided that it would be a mile too far, however we did extend the walk a little to explore the rock faces.
