April Walk Betsy-y-Coed

The next walk will be to Betsy-y-Coed in North Wales on Saturday 14th April 2007.

If you would like to join them please contact the church office to see if there are any spare seats on the coach. They leave from the car park behind Iceland at 8.00am and walking boots must be worn.

A Party Walk Settle - 11.8 miles

A very pleasant walk on an overcast day, with brief glimpses of the sun and light drizzzle after lunch. After leaving the town we had a steep walk along mainly tarmacadam surface. The climb then evened out away from the road onto the fells, ready for our first stop overlooking a farm. A Quick discussion over diverting to Malham tarn, but it was decided that it would be a mile too far, however we did extend the walk a little to explore the rock faces.
