Walk Leader: Gwyn Jones
Total Distance: 8.5 miles
Total Ascent/Descent: 1575 ft
A
linear walk starting at Llanwrst and, hopefully, ending at Betws-y-Coed.
The first mile is along level ground to
Trefriw. From here we climb up through the woods to Llyn Geirionydd and then on
up to the old Hafna Mine.
From here it is all downhill to the Miner’s bridge
and along the riverside to Betws-y-Coed. The climbing is not severe – the
highest point on the walk is about 850 ft.
