We leave Castleton car park along a path to Hollowford Lane. Then on passed farms to Spring House Farm, then we start the climb to Lose Hill. It is steep but we have time to take it steadily. ( The A party may overtake us! ) Then we follow The Great Ridge, which is undulating. There are a couple of steep descents. After Mam Tor we cross fields to follow a farm road to The Limestone Way back into Castleton.
