Leaving Church Stretton via the National Trust Centre at Carding Mill Valley, our walk takes us to the heights of the Long Mynd at the fantastic viewpoint of Pole Bank. (516m) This area gives us an opportunity to walk many miles on “Green Roads,” and following one of these, we continue on, descending to Little Stretton and the A5
A stiff climb then leads us to our second high spot of the day at Ragleth Hill (398m) with wide ranging views over what seems like the whole of Shropshire. Descending to Church Stretton, we find refreshment and shopping, before the last (modest) climb of the day back to the coach.
